35th Campout Speaker MP3 Recordings

Beginning in 2014, at the 33rd Annual Campout we recorded our four Main Speakers. We have continued this tradition going forward and are happy to post our speakers from the 35th Campout here on our site. As a free service to the NA Community we are providing MP3 recordings for playback on this site along with the ability to download a copy of each recording. Just right click (long press for mobile) on the speaker name to download and save. You can play them directly from the site by selecting the speaker and clicking on the the play button. We would like to extend our appreciation to all of the speakers for sharing their experience, strength and hope.

We look forward to seeing you all next year.

BRANA Campout-35 Years: Some History…

ColorLogo-phsp-160x150gifSince 1982 NA members and their families have been gathering in July in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia for three days of fellowship, meetings and the miracles of recovery. This year marks the 35th year of this event and we expect it will again produce some fond memories, some surprises and many opportunities for growth…

Here are some links that chronicle our history along with an artwork slideshow representing 35 years of the BRANA Campout.

“The Journal” BRANA 34 – #4

… The best vacation in reality. Ever…

Journal PicAt BRANA 29 (July 2010), a local NA member brought a journal and passed it around for people to write down their thoughts, feelings and experiences during the weekend.

This tradition has continued through 2015 with BRANA 34. The Journal  continues to provide us with an inside look at the people who attend the BRANA Campout.

Erin M … First time here. Wow, what an experience. I’ve heard the “stories”, but none can compare to the place that I found here. I came in carrying some serious feelings and by reaching out to others in other areas, I’ve finally found the release I needed and it was so simple. I can’t wait to share my experience with others in my area and keep in contact with those I’ve met here.

Kevin, NORVANA… My 3rd BRANA! Luv, luv, luv BRANA. Great place to reflect and see the progress I have made in my life over the years since I got clean. Grateful for the brothers and sisters whose service makes the BRANA experience happen. I love the A4 crew so much!

Bill I … The best vacation in reality. Ever…

Matt N … Some friends and I drove 16 hours to make this campout from Chicago. I’m living in and trying to follow the principle of the 3rd Step, which is willingness. Willing to go that extra mile to network, have fun and stay clean.

Greg F, TCANA … BRANA on my clean birthday! What better way to celebrate your clean time than being with 400+ addicts in recovery! Today makes 16 years in recovery, celebrating with some old friends and some new ones. Just remember to stay clean “Just for Today”.
